Seminar Series: Dr. Robert Quinn - Creation, Restoration, Beauty and Artistry

  • East Carolina Study Center 500 Elizabeth Street Greenville, NC, 27834 United States (map)

Robert D. Quinn, Ph.D., was born and raised in suburban Atlanta, Georgia. He seriously pursued art first at Young Harris College, going on to complete his degrees in art education at the University of Georgia and Auburn University at Montgomery.

When he’s not teaching courses in Art Education at East Carolina University, where he’s been since 2006, he plays music and makes art. His areas of arts-based research and creative activity focus primarily on painting, sculpture, and ceramics, often combining the three in mixed-media works of art. He enjoys, most of all, using his musical talents to lead singing for worship services at Christ Presbyterian Church in Winterville. He and his wife, Amy, have two children, Trathen and Madison and a rescue dog, Boone.

Dr. Quinn’s talk on Creation, Restoration, Beauty and Artistry will take place at the East Carolina Study Center on September 8th, 2025.

This is a FREE community event sponsored by the ECSC but an RSVP is appreciated.
